It is hard to believe that Hunt 560 is ending today. I sketched in the big coffee table book with a Prismacolor 03.

Number 9, tool - Gene pointed out to me that this compass has a nib for ink on it, you can flip the attachment at the black area. Never thought about that. Must be pretty old.
Number 10,11,12 - three items one in front of the other - napkins, pepper and pepper
This little fella, about 1.5 inches long, was on the glass door from the laundry room to the outside yesterday. He was there all day. Gene put him down late and he is gone, guess he got back in the grass.
The Lost Pines Art Center was having a watercolor class with Pomona Hallenbeck, my sketching friend. Not enough signed up to do the class. I signed up today before I talked to her so now need a refund. We are still going to get together tomorrow, weather permitting, for a catch up visit and to sketch.
The weather has been rain and rain for the last few days. We had 2 inches yesterday and have had 1/2 an inch today. That makes about 5 inches in the last 4 days. Not flooding here, but bad out in the Hill Country. Llano and the Marble Falls areas are bad hit with flooding. A bridge at Kingsland, Texas, washed away. The big dams have kept it from flooding down from Lake Travis but they are releasing lots of water along the way. Many low water road closings. As the saying goes in Texas, "Turn around, don't drown!"
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

im sure the frog is enjoying all the rain :)
might be for lead instead of a pen nib, either way probably pretty old. I have a few old sets full of old drawing instruments
Jennifer Rose, such a tiny frog!
Interesting, on the pen attachment, one way is the pen and the other is the pencil. Cool. I'm pretty sure it has never had ink on it!
The weather was perfect in France. It has been rainy since I got home and cooler than it was in France. I'm not complaining. I'm glad to be home.
Woohoo! Bag Blog, please you are home again. Yep, it is definitely cooler and wetter. Still raining here. We've had 6 inches or so in the last 5 days. Ponds are full, luckily no flooding in our area, Hill Country not so lucky.
