We are starting down the road today with a stop at the dentist in Las Palomas.
I sketched in the travel sketchbook with Zig Millennium pens for Scavenger Hunt 558

Number 1, on a shelf
Number 2, related to cooking - the chopping block is black and in front of the stove from my perspective, a bit confusing to draw. I started not to put the background but .... Roger's kitchen.
We will see you down the road....
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Hope the dental visit went well and you travel safely!
joan, the dentist went well. We are taking 3 Days to drive home across Texas. It’s 600 miles from El Paso to Bastrop, added to about 90 miles from El Paso to las Palomas. We used to do it in one day, too old for that now.
It has been busy here. I got Toby off to India on Wed. Then I packed for our church family campout in the Wichita Mountains. Glad to know you on your way home and all is good.
Bag Blog, wow, hope Toby has a great trip. Hope you have fun in the mountains. We made it home and are hoping to get a bit organized. Joanna helped us unload the car and trailer. Yay!!
Jo hopped over to visit your lovely blog. Your pastel Sundown is gorgeous. Sketches are delightful. Thanks for stopping over to visit me. Will be back to visit you again soon. Have a great day.
Thanks, Debbie. It is always fun to meet other artists and share work. See ya again.
