Home Again

We are back home, arriving on last Friday evening.  Joanna came by after music at The Bugle Boy and spent the night to help with unloading on Saturday.  We did get unloaded but it will be some time before we get things put away.  Especially so as we tend to leave things out where we can get to them.

I sketched in the travel sketchbook, a Canson mixmedia, for Scavenger Hunt 559.

Number 1, draw the last picture on your mobile - clouds at Walmart, with Prismacolor 03 fineline marker and watercolor.  Lots of editing.  The photo follows.

The clouds were so beautiful - no rain resulted.  :-(

The holidays are quickly approaching, a reminder for the coming Mistletoe Jam.  Always a fun way to raise money.  It is moving from Threadgill's South which is closing due to high rent and will be held at Threadgill's North.  Looking forward to the event.

Byrd and Street are sponsors.  More info to follow.  www.byrdandstreet.com
They will be at the New World Deli on Saturday, October 6.  A good place to see and hear Byrd and Street live and in person.

Welcome home!!! I'm glad you had some help unpacking. That takes so much energy. You always have so many musical events to go to!!!

Thanks, Joan. It is good to be here, doesn't feel like we've been gone. Weird. There is lots of live music in this area! You can go to several places every night and many on the weekends.
