One Ends and One Starts

My start to Scavenger Hunt 541
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1447919

Feather was one of the items.  The Mimosa Tree in the neighbors yard looks so feathery, so a substitute.  This is in the big book with the new Ziz Millennium pens.  I have 5 colors and they don't really blend.  The blooms tend to be a bit pink and not so red.  The darks are not black of course.

Number 1, feather - feathery Mimosa

I sketched on the iMac with SketchbookPro and the mouse on this Mexican Hat flower.  This was supposed to be for Hunt 540.  Didn't happen.  The color picker in SketchbookPro doesn't work too well to match the colors.  Probably something to do with my ooold computer.  I just hate to give up and work on-line with my "stuff".  Times are changing and even the iMac has apps.  Doesn't make me smile.

And the yard and view of the more easterly lake  ...  without the birdhouse.  Looks different somehow.  It only took the swallows and Purple Martins a few days to give up and go away.  That was a surprise.

The road runner was on our porch near our bedroom yesterday afternoon.  It left some calling cards so we are still left to clean messes without the doggies or the Purple Martins and swallows.  Ha.

I love mimosa trees and Mexican Hat flowers. Your flower is pretty awesome for a computer sketch. You should do a pastel :)

Bag Blog, thank you. Those flowers are nice. Surely I have done a pastel or two of them in the past. Ha. I need to do any pastel.
