Sketched at Home

Time to sketch for the Scavenger Hunts is more difficult during baseball season.  Games are usually 4 a week.  Yesterday I put this on my blog:  There is a double header today and another tomorrow.  (My in house critic noticed.)  What I should have said was:  There is a double header today and another single game tomorrow.  So we have one game to go to today.

Scavenger Hunt 532

Number 7, kitchen towel
Number 8, keepsake - a pottery pot about 8 inches high from New Mexico, probably from Acoma or a Navajo pot.  About 50 years old, survived the fire, probably because it had been fired already.

The baseball game should be interesting today.  After the double header which was played mostly in rain, it is supposed to be nice.  Up to 78 degrees .. yikes!  It hovered around 60 degrees yesterday.  You just never know.  Northwestern won on Friday night and the Horns won both games yesterday.  You never know who will win either.  Longhorns were in a game with Stanford where we were ahead 9 to nothing in the 9th inning and Stanford won 10-9 in austin.  Stanford comes next week, that is always a great series.

I'm hoping to get something done for the new hunt since I was MIA for this one. Time is disappearing too quickly!!!

Joan, it is hard to find time even when we don't do much. You stay sooooo busy with your art. I am always amazed that you keep up with the Hunts and challenges. You are doing 100 faces in a week now, I think. Yikes!
