I sketched yesterday from a photo from last year, the day after Christmas. My sketching buddy, Chewie. I walked away from my sketching and found this on return.

Every year I tell myself that I would like to buy a smaller tree...maybe a table top??? However, my daughters don't want that since their children love the bigger tree. SIGH!!!!! Maybe soon... My decoration that I truly love is my Nativity that belonged to my Mother in law. It has to be at least 75 years old if not older. The other day I was watching my daughters puppy and she started to chew the roof of the Nativrity... Not happy! So we have to watch the little one closer from now on.... Hubby wasn't too happy...lol.
I love your sketches as always Jo! I look forward to seeing many more in 2018....

hmuxo, yep, that was the plan to do a small tree. I continue to put up the big one for the same reasons. The dogs haven't bothered the tree ... yet! They come for the week between Christmas and New Years. We will see what happens. Thanks for the visit at this busy time.

well 10 days is more then enough time to get the tree up, or you could just draw a big one with pastels ;)

Sisters! I put my Christmas tree up yesterday. Whew! I thought I was the only one in the world who hadn't put the tree up right after Thanksgiving :)
Bag Blog, we are sisters for sure! I rarely get it up before the 15th. Usually take it down about the 6th or so. Last year Jennie helped take it down before she left about New Years day. She is leaving the 29th this year, so we shall see if we get it down. Ha.
