Austin is not too bad so our kids are are heading home. Larry is driving from Wichita Falls, Joanna and Jennie fly back tomorrow. David and Lisa are flying back to Kentucky tomorrow. Hopefully all flights will be flying.
We have had a great time. Plenty of mountain activities. A bit of rafting and zip lining. We rode the narrow gauge train from Antonito, Colorado, to Chama, New Mexico. It goes in and out of both states many times on the four hour ride. Lunch about half way and then 1.5 hour bus back to Antonito. We had dinner at our favorite place in Taos, Orlando's.
I did sketch a bit in the big book with a Micron 05 as I recall.

Number 2, eye - Jennie's
Number 3, eavesdropping - listening to Jennie, I fixed her flat head!
Number 4, egg - attempting a white egg on a white plate in ink isn't easy.
Larry suggested I take a photo of the egg to see the shadows better. Cool!
I also sketched on the iPad for Hunt 508 the other day.
Number 4, jacket - Larry's without Larry. I used Brushes and my Apple pencil on the iPad.
Activities:
David, Lisa, Gene, Jo, Jennie and Larry
Cumbre Toltec Railroad
The train blowing out steam after the lunch stop.
Aspens coming into Chama.
River rafting on the Rio Grande near Taos. The company is Los Rios River Rafting, a good experienced company.
Gene zip-lining in Angel Fire
Bear and I ... we are in bear country.

That jacket totally looks like Larry! I knew it was him before I read the caption. :-)
It looks like the family is having a great time. I love that you are wearing a jacket - must be cool. And Orlandos! Makes me hungry just to think about it.
Jesse worked the HH in Wichita, but did not ride in it this year. The weather was perfect for a ride, sigh. We went by the trade show before they closed down - a good time to get some good deals.
Joanna, ha! I didn't realize that Larry has on that jacket in the photo under my sketch! Fun.
Bag Blog, we did and are having a good time. The girls leave today and we will be on our own again. Sorry you didn't get to ride in the HH. Larry was anticipating a Wetter than Hell ride but it wasn't bad he said. He is back home.
So glad you are okay Jo.. love the pictures.. xx
the zip-lining looks like fun :) did you have a go?
Jennifer Rose, zip-lining is fun. I am afraid of heights and slow things that stop, so will not ride the long ski lift necessary here. I think I would like it if I didn't have to go up to get there. Ha.
