Room was one of the items on Scavenger Hunt 508
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1432647
I sketched in the big book with the Micron 01, using one of the twin beds in the room for a table. Very quickly.
Number 2, room - it is not quite that big. Smiling.
Number 3, bag - a grocery size bag from Bolivia. (with another bag inside) It is some sort of woven nylon and is 20 plus years old. Gene has replaced the handles but that is one tough bag. I had two of them that didn't burn, but I left the other with some Bolivia tablecloths at some art happening and never got them back. Sigh....
Three of our traveling kids come this evening. Looking forward to that. Will I blog? Probably. Check back to find out.
By the way it is cloudy in the west and looking like rain......
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Love the room sketch. I'm impressed with your digital art skills on the bag - beautifully done. We have a group here that weaves bags from plastic bags. The bags are pretty and very durable.
have a good evening! :D
that is one tough bag
Hi Rose, thank you so much. I have heard of bags made from plastic bags but never saw any. This one has been around! I like that it stays upright and doesn't collapse. We use it every trip on the road.
Jennifer Rose it is great to have the "kids" here. Larry showed up, too. He wasn't due in until yesterday. Nice. We did have fun, gone all day on a train ride, will post about that....
I bought my first bag like that one while we were living down on the border years ago. I used it as my beach bag.
Have fun with your kiddos.
Bag Blog, The bags are mighty handy. The actual baskets were good too, but the handles were not always tough over time. These you can keep changing the handles.
Love seeing what you are up to. Hope you had fun with your traveling kids.
Joan, it is fun. We are enjoying our "kids". We rarely have them all together. Joanna and Larry won't overlap, but we see them in Austin. Fun.
Hope your family and home are safe back in Texas. The news reports are so horrible. Rain is one thing...but that is crazy.
Joan, thanks, all is well, I'm writing a post.
