Number 14, something decorative - a painting at the Dr's office.  Should have looked for the name of the artist.  Pretty colors changing from turquoise to yellow in the off center.
Number 15, something to read - magazine in the Dr's office.
Number 16, something to drink - wine, what else??
Number 17, something to eat - cheese, peppers and pizza

Yesterday turned into a long day.  We drove about 160 miles.  We went to Austin to Gene's neurologist first.  Good check up there.  Then to the credit union to see about IRA withdrawals for Income Tax.  Then to the heart doctor for our check ups there.  All good, come back in a year!  We really like Dr. Morris, I hope he doesn't retire by then.  He's not that old, but a stressful job, eh?

After that we were trying to decide what and where to eat.  Joanna was going to the Bugle Boy in La Grange.  Well, we could do that and eat at a pizza/deli there that had been in the paper a few days ago.  Good idea!!

We stopped for gasoline and I remembered how much I like those little, waxy, awful, chocolate donuts that come in the little packages in convenience stores.  I hadn't had any for 8 years or so.  Hmmm.  I got some and ate the whole 6 pack with an 8 oz. bottle of 2% milk.  Long story short, we went on to La Grange, I ate too much for dinner and we ended up coming back home without listening to the music.  I'm still not used to my stomach being in the correct location.  My pants are tighter now.  Ha.

I'm fine today.  Gene bought a new storm door for the front door so will probably work on that.  Larry is coming "home" tonight and we will see the Texas kiddos for lunch on Mother's Day.

Hope you all have a good Mother's Day as well!  Ciao.....

I have never liked those little donuts in a package that you buy at convenience stores. I eat enough bad-for-you-stuff as it is.

Bag Blog, ha! I know and can't figure out why I like those waxy things. The frosting/wax is changed and more normal so I didn't like them as much as the old days. Still couldn't resist eating them all! It was a good thing to avoid for all the years. We aren't traveling as much so I won't be tempted. Right?
