This is more than likely the last sketch for this Hunt 495
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1427002
Tomorrow is the last day and we have doctor's checkups and a trip to the credit union in Austin. Most of the day......
I sketched on the porch in the big/huge sketchbook with a Micron 01 and added a bit of colored pencil on the last two.
Number 9, something that flies - purple martins
Number 10, something black -Genes black thermos cup
Number 11 or 13, something white - salt shaker, not very white as it went through the fire, not useable (Miss-numbered)
Number 11, something wild - Indian Paintbrush wildflower
Number 12, something soft -the blanket on the chair.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

There is a field that I pass on the way to WF that is covered in Indian Paint Brushed - it is a sea of red.
Here is the art sketcher that I have liked from the World Watercolor Group on FB. www.artchapenjoin.com
Bag Blog, we don't have many wildflowers in our yard and open field this year. I think they mowed too soon last year and again this year. My bluebonnet seeds are just now opening and they mowed a couple of weeks ago. The paintbrush are still blooming as you see! Shame.
I couldn't get the link to work. :( Just name to google?? or facebook??
Hugs....
i like you little birds sketch :) hope the check ups go fine :)
Thanks, Jennifer Rose. I ended up doing a few more sketches in town. Post them soon.
Sorry, I didn't link that very well. On FB the artist's name is Jonathan Price. You can see his sketches there. I had put his blog site down, but you would probably have to copy and paste it to make it work.
Bag Blog, found the link for Jonathan Price that worked for me
