Why wasn't I in a better sketching mode? I don't have any obligations today. Hmmm. My sketches were unsatisfying and in the big coffee table sketchbook. Maybe I wanted better sketches in that book. Ya think?
Number 4, pair of .... Gene's pants. They are on a plastic hanger that is not bent like a wire hanger.
Number 5, set of ... a set of mini screwdrivers
Number 6, box of .... Gluten free animal crackers, the box should be taller
Number 7, hand holding something ... wine cork from "Show" wine that we get at The Bugle Boy. We haven't been in ages so why was that cork still on the counter??

The fundraiser went really well last night. My painting had bids over the value price. A huge crowd turned out to help Terri and thank her for all she has done for our community. It was good to see her and so many friends. It was so crowded that it was hard to hear. The music was loud outside, but you couldn't hear it inside with the talking. We left before the live auction, not sure how they would hear the auctioneer! There were some fishing trips and vacation weekends that we wouldn't have bid on. Folks were excited to bid.
Blue Window
Pastel, 11 x 14 inches
This painting is from long ago, I wanted to post something that I WAS satisfied with. I like the blue windows and doors in New Mexico.

The ladies and I painted a silly little winter scene, but art has taken a backseat to Thanksgiving preparations. The gang will be here on Wednesday.
Bag Blog, hope you have a wonderful holiday! Thanksgiving is my favorite. I think because it is about our blessings with no pressure and just a time to enjoy and appreciate our lives.
Glad the fundraiser went so well! Sounds like a fun time!! I have to hit the stores (tomorrow maybe) to pick up a few things for my pecan pie and other things to take to my sister-in-laws house. She decided to do the cooking which is fine with me. I'll probably get a turkey to make another day anyway because we enjoy it so much.
Joan, Once a year turkey is fine for me. I do love the day and pecan pie is a favorite!
