Last Sketches for Hunt 464

This is the second time to do this on my iPad.  I went to get a link and my draft disappeared.  I miss my iMac.  Really!

I sketched as usual with the Micron 03 adding a bit ow watercolor.  That seems to make mistakes less noticeable, don't you think?

Number 18 - 23
Signs of season change - falling leaves in the back yard

Now this is the third or fourth time I'm doing this and now I am on Gene's computer.  Argh!!! On my iPad,  I went to get a link, the draft went away.  Then I went to pick Gene up on his trike and the draft went away, back to this point each time.  I went to look up something and gone again.  Let's see what happens now.  The browser is having problems on this computer.  Fingers crossed.

List continued:
19. Human ear
20. Nested items - some napkins in a little wooden box with apple like carvings on each side.  It is square and I hope with the added color you don't notice my bad perspective.  :-)
21. Flashlight - a little one on Gene's key chain.
22. Hinge - one on the wrought iron gate
23. Crevice or crack - in a retaining wall across the street.  It is about 2.5 feet tall and looks like someone hit it on the way leaving the parking lot.  Hmmm.

It has been a quiet few days after the trip to the dentist on Wednesday.  Some of the old restaurants are closed.  We ate in Deming after the dentist.  Yummy potato soup at an Italian restaurant.  We will stop again on Wednesday.

We ate at Wrangler's Bar and Grill here in Silver City.  It is new to us and has mixed reviews.  My reviews are mixed, too.  I had tortilla crusted talapia the first time, excellent.  I had ranch style pinto beans with it and they were clearly from a can.  Gene had a chicken fried steak, all good.  The bread was a little loaf and looked good, but obviously from a package, too.  The second time, Gene had a green chile burrito.  It was good.  I had ribs.  They were good but not outstanding and the french fries were overdone.  So, some good and not so good.  The wait staff was very good.  Reviews on line said it was horrible.  Go figure.

I picked up Gene after his trike ride today.  He rode to Hurley, about 15 miles.  It is very steep up and downs so a hard ride.  He came back and took a nap so I used his computer to finish this.

I'm the host for the next Scavenger Hunt. The list is ready to go if I remember to post it!

Off to do other things, now.  See ya later.......

Well I see the image doesn't get bigger ... rats.  I will try to fix it.

All those computer problems, but you stuck with it. Good for you. I might not have.

How's the weather now that the rain is gone?

Glad you were finally able to post your sketches! It is so frustrating where posts disappear. Have fun hosing the next hunt.

Bag Blog, thanks. It has been nice here, cool evenings and nights. Maybe paint today.

Joan, yes good to get a post done. You know too well. Time flies, you are about halfway on your trip? We have about three weeks left.

ears can be hard to draw, you did well with it :)

and yeah watercolour tend to hide mistakes very well. I think the colours distract from any wrong lines :p at least I find that

Jennifer Rose, thanks. I think the ear was more realistic to its owner before I added color. The top should be lighter. It was good to try "flesh" colors. I need much more practice with water colors.
