Not easy to post right now but that is not important. I will do what I can. I sketched with the Micron 03 in the regular sketchbook. These are smaller sketches so a bit faster.
Number 1, umbrella - comes with a story: When we were here in 2008 or 2009, Mitzi, our landlord, insisted on buying a new umbrella for the back deck. We told her we didn't use it but she brought over a very nice patio umbrella and put in the middle of the table.
Just a couple of days later, Gene was in the kitchen looking out the back and a whirlwind came along and picked up the closed umbrella. It opened and spun off into the distance. We went out immediately and couldn't see it anywhere as there are trees and houses all around. We told Mitzi, and we all went looking for the umbrella. We drove around, up and down the streets, no umbrella. It just went off in the mini tornado.
When we came this year, the umbrella on the deck looks so similar. She said they found it but doesn't remember where. Hmmm. I suspect she bought another at some point. We haven't used it this year either. :)
Number 2, white - a jeep up the hill from the back door.
Number 3, a memory scene from yesterday - this was Sunday and I sketchced church goers from Saturday mass, the Newman Center is on the corner.
Number 4, red - Gene's little red footstool
Number 5, something open - my plastic mug and lid on the porch
Number 6, zipper - several on my purse
Number 7, appliance - small coffee maker at the dentist's
Number 8, dominoes - I was sure when I put this item on the list that I would find some here in this house as there are many old games and toys. I did not find dominoes, so substituted this game where you try to jump the golf tees to have one left. There is one missing. Hmmm.
Number 9, goblet - several in assorted sizes hanging between the kitchen and dining room
Number 10, fancy - a brass candle holder on the wall
Number 11, open drawer - in the kitchen

The sketches are fun, as usual, and the story of the umbrella is funny. I can just picture you and Gene watching the umbrella fly away. Wizard of Oz story!
Bag Blog, it was a strange thing. Nothing else disturbed. You know he the wind Devils pick up junk. Where did it go? We went around the area for 20 blocks or more. Maybe in a yard hidden behind a wall, it was red brick color and large, so should have Ben fairly easy to spot. Weird!
