Moving On - Sketches

I sketched on my iPad for Scavenger Hunt 460 for a change.  Actually, I was too lazy to get the sketchbook.

Number 8, hand - with brushes and my fingers, tried a looser style and it sort of looks the same as always. Sigh....

We had a very nice relaxing time in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and East Grand Forks, Minnesota.  We had dinners in both states and yesterday Gene rode his trike in both states on a very nice bike trail along the border river, Red River that runs north.    I took Gene to a park for the start of the trail.  I was going to paint but it was windy.  I did my walk, took a nap and sketched and did some puzzles.

Parking was by the swimming pool so I sketched some figures and a bit of landscape.

Number 9, figure - folks at the swimming pool.  I sketched on watercolor paper as I didn't take my sketchbook.  I had the tiny one in my purse and the huge one for life form drawing which I forgot about.  Gene reminded me after the fact.

I'm sure we took some good photos here but which camera they are on, I am not sure.  Maybe they will show up for my next post.

We are off to the west.  Still on Highway 2.  Shouldn't get lost!!  We have a few days before we plan on being in Miles City to visit my cousin, so we will see where we land tonight.  There is a nice lake/tourist area on the way to Minot.  Will there be rooms????  Stay tuned to find out.

Thanks, Jennifer Rose. One of the artists on wetcanvas said it looks like a pastel, so maybe that is why it looks the same to me. :-)
