Sketch for 445 on iPad and Flower Photos

It was so nice day before yesterday that I sat on the porch and sketched on my iPad.  It was a very nice day.  Yesterday was not so great, it was damp and didn't get over 60.  I know, I know, that 60 in a dry area is short sleeves.  But here, when damp it is like having the air conditioner on and just cold enough to want the heater on.  I didn't turn it on until last night when it got down in the 50s.  The low was 42.7 so no sitting on the porch.

Number 5, clear - the table top glass

We need to do something with the nesting tables from the porch, they are getting rusty.  Time for black rust protector I guess.

I also went for a walk and found spring in the neighborhood.

A neighbor has a big century plant?  aloe??  At any rate this is about 10 feet tall and getting ready to bloom.

The wisteria across the street bloomed and was very pretty, then we had a frosty morning and it is a bit bedraggled now.

The primroses are so pretty.  They are difficult to show the beautiful stamens and how delicate they are.

The Longhorns played baseball at  Oklahoma last night in the first of three games.  The Sooners won 6 - 1.  Both teams are not doing so well and I feel as I said before, that we wonder if our Texans can beat their Texans.  They have at least 11 players from the state of Texas including the pitcher last night.  The Sooners scored the six runs by hitting three home runs.  They want to prove that UT should of signed them, you think?  They had 7 hits and UT had 6 as I recall.  Sort of a pitchers battle except for the home runs!  Maybe the Horns will have the momentum today.  Hook 'em Horns!

probably a century plant since aloe vera plants dont get that tall, but can be hard to tell with plants that look so similar :)

I don't know what those plants are called, but I want one. Wild flowers here are beginning to grow. Temps are supposed to be in the 80s this week. Yeah spring! I had to mow the lawn a few days ago. I managed to run over my Christmas lights. Serves me right for leaving them out there.

Jennifer Rose, you are probably right. Hope I remember to get a photo when it blooms.

Joanna, I didn't smell it. Hmmm.

Bag Blog, you are funny. We will try to get to see you when school is out. Enjoy the spring weather, 100s are not far behind!!
