Square Hunting Sketch and Photo
I sketched yesterday on my iPad. It is not very good. Is that inattention or just lazy? It really felt like homework today. I just have been very lethargic for no apparent reason. And ... of course, the less you do, the less you want to do. The answer is to get busy and do something.
Number 3, square - some Bolivian coasters, no, probably Peruvian coasters. We had given them to Gene's mom and after the fire and Mom Francis' death we got them back.
Here is a photo of the coasters:
They are painted on the glass and then put on a wooden square with plaster of paris or some sort of putty to hold them together and that is painted with gold leaf. Each one is different of course and these are signed. Nice. The glass on one was broken, who knows when?

very pretty coasters, almost too pretty to use I think :)
Jennifer Rose, they are pretty and tell stories in the different images. They were never used much, glass isn't the best thing to sit a wet drinking glass on! Good memories of our time down south.
I like the sketches. Funny that you weren't happy with them. :-)
Joanna, thanks. The sketch is just not very accurate in size, I ran out of room for the people. Ha. Not sure if my practice is that productive when I'm that far off. But, I sketched and I think that is good!
