Sketch and a Pastel Valentine

I sketched in the humongous book again with the Micron 03.  I usually spend about 20 minutes at most on the sketches and sketch freehand.  This is a full page so larger than usual.

Number 5 fan - I really liked the fan except for the one blade.  It was shorter and more behind the light part .. if I had only used a pencil.  Ha!
Number 6 butter container - glass butter dish
Number 7 scissors
Number 8 cutting board

I was looking at my email and got Richard McKinley's http://mckinleystudio.com/  post accompanied by a list of previous posts.  I saw the one for February last year.  It is so appropriate for the way I feel about pastels.  Have a read of:

Happy Valentine's Day!

P. S.  The bear in the photo on "A Valentine to Pastel" is the same bear in my post last year.  Strange, eh?

Also T and I were going to the Lost Pines Artist Alliance show in Smithville last year.  Gene and I are going today.  Hmmmm.... The theme is Blue this year, Red last year.  The gallery is on Main Street and the reception is 2-5 p.m. today.  http://www.lostpinesartisansalliance.org/events.htm

Happy Valentine's Day. We have nothing planned. Planning is not our strong suit.

Bag Blog, we don't plan either, it just happened to be the same weekend.

Jennifer Rose, you are so right, it is a nice day today. Folks back east are in a deep freeze. That is why we are here!
