We play Telefunken, a progressive rummy game, and Hearts and just have a lot of fun. Carolyn, niece, and Robert came from Knoxville to do the bourbon tours with us and visit. That was super. Never enough time. David and Lisa are having a new home built so we got to see the foundation and on a beautiful property.
We were able to visit with the Texas, New Mexico and Arizona families by Facetime and Telegram. They had traditional Thanksgiving at Jennie's. We have had a wonderful time which we are so Thankful for. That is what Thanksgiving is all about to me. Thanks to all you blog readers that share my world, too.
It was Jennie's birthday on Tuesday. We missed her birthday, but I sketched her dogs for her birthday card. Happy Birthday, Jennie.
We had a margarita painting class! There were six of us painting.
Gene made his famous margaritas for us.
Carolyn and her painting.
Art at Maker's Mark distillery. Beautiful blown glass ceiling.
The view from David's new place.

Looks like a great Thanksgiving. The rain and cold was not fun here, but the family time was good.
Bag Blog, bad weather is not good for traveling. It looked like you might have had snow and/ or ice. Yuck. All good here. It did rain yesterday and more for today, but not cold. Yay!!
Glad you had such a fun Thanksgiving. I wouldn't be able to eliminate the turkey for the meal...that is my favorite part. Hope you had good weather. It seemed to be so awful in the middle of the country. Traveling is always a gamble. Enjoy!
Joan, Thank you! Hope your Thanksgiving was super as well. I like dressing and the pies of the traditional meal. I can always skip "the bird" anytime. We had great weather, it was warmer in Kentucky than the cold spell in Bastrop! We had rain on the trip, but not cold and icy. Very nice!!
