Travel Hunting Sketches Photos

CWe took AMTRAK from Austin to St. Louis. We thought we would have Wi-Fi and I would have extra time to write blogs and read. No Wi-Fi! We managed to get some reading done and take a few photos. It was great not to have to drive for two days. My sketches were few and far between as well. Maybe I will do better on the way back.

It is now Scavenger Hunt 429. Here are a few sketches with the Micron 05 in the travel sketchbook.

Number 1, hinges open; number 2, needs batteries and number 3, needs hot water - dirty dishes

I don't drink bourbon, but if you take 3 sips, the third is smooth.  Especially followed by dark chocolate bourbon balls.

The chocolate bourbon balls sound yummy, but since I rarely drink would probably get me drunk. lol Looks like you had a great time. Sorry you didn't have Wi-Fi on the trip, but having time to read is nice too. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Gene!

The bourbon balls are pretty good. The alcohol is cooked out so mostly they are just chocolate with the flavor. I'm definitely not a bourbon drinker but the chocolate smooths it out. They also had a cream/bourbon liquor which was good. I much prefer wine.

Happay Thanksgiving back to you!

Jennifer Rose, if you are not a drinker, you probably wouldn't like bourbon. It is a corn whiskey. It has wheat in it and some have rye so as a gluten sensitive person, I should not drink it. :)
