Happy 240th Birthday, Marines!

It is birthday number 240 for the United States Marine Corps.  They were established in 1775, so almost a year older than our country.

A special birthday wish to our own Marine, David!  Hope the day is special and you get a piece of cake!

My Marine cousin has been deployed to the Middle East. He is currently on a ship in the Mediterranean patrolling the area. Happy Birthday Marines!

Bag Blog, thank your cousin for us. We don't have any close relatives in the service at the moment. A brother in law's, son in law is in the Army stationed in Oklahoma. Happy Veterans Day to them and all!
