Number 7, shoes - my sketcher slipper thingys.
We went to Taos yesterday to see Lou (Bag Blog) and Toby. We really enjoy being with them. We will see them again today or tomorrow. Maybe Lou and I will paint. Keep repeating and it will happen, right? I don't think she has tried the Pan Pastels. Fun.
My watercolor painting did not come to pass. I tore the paper when I took off the frisket and then made it too light so the white flowers did not show. A learning curve for sure. I will have a critique and help from Lou!
Our friendly visitor and sometimes model.
Hummers and Gene's hanging system to avoid making holes in the posts.
An action shot of sorts. They don't show well against the trees.
A view from the Rim road near Taos. Pretty skies, too.
There are quite a few sunflowers and you can see some houses on the far banks of the canyon.

Sounds like you're having a great time, Jo! Lovely skies to be sure. And is that a prairie dog?
Regina, thanks. We are having good times. The visitor is a chipmunk. There is a prairie dog that is near the driveway, but I haven't been close enough or the light is too dim. They are similar, but have either no tail or a very short one. You don't see a tail and they are a solid tan color.
