I sketched for Scavenger Hunt 411. http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1382750 I'm procrastinating on getting ready for our trip. Can you tell?
I have to straighten my studio and pack art stuff, empty the fridge and pack food, pack clothes, etc..... Just two days to go after today. Yikes!
I sketched on the porch, quickly this morning with the Micron 003 pens with color and in the same old large sketchbook.
Number 5, purple - my pretty watrcolor sketchbook. I got it in Michigan one time with Sue ages ago at James Brandess Studios and Gallery, Inc., Saugatuck, Michigan. It has about twenty-five pages and I have used about half a dozen.
Number 6, toes - my covered in socks toes.
Number 7, triangle - A folded napkin. This shape is always difficult for me to find. This was Gene's suggestion. Thanks, Gene!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

I like the triangle! :-)
Hi, Joanna. Thanks. I don't know why I have such a time finding that shape. One of the sketchers did a metal clip. I have those and didn't see the triangle. :) Maybe next time it will be easier.
that was a good idea for a triangle, good on Gene :)
yes def. remember to empty the fridge or you might end up with some furry friends you don't really want to visit :p
Jennifer Rose, I thank you, Gene thanks you. :) Our fridge has done well when we were gone except for once. Joanna had to deal with the horrible mess. It just went out completely as I recall. Not a nice story.
No, that was not a good story. It had been out a few days when I got there. I don't know why I even looked in the fridge but I did and yikes! It was good that I looked, though. If it had sat there another week in the heat, we might've had to burn the house down on purpose. Oops. :-)
Joanna, ha, ha. Another reason for burning stuff at the house. Yikes. :-)
no more house fires!!! dont temp fate :)
yeah its the smell of forgotten food that gets me, open door, get hit the face by smell, slam door shut, go searching for ones of John's gas masks before cleaning :p
Jennifer Rose, maybe I need to get on E-bay for a gas mask. Ha. That is a good idea. And you are right no more tempting old fate!
