Hunt 407 Sketching

I am hosting Scavenger Hunt 407  goo.gl/nqdOxt
I decided I had better sketch something.

We were on the porch and I was trying to hurry as the Longhorns are playing in the NCAA Regional tournament in Dallas.  It was supposed to start at 11:00 a.m. and as of 1:18 they still do not have a start time.  There was more rain this morning so the field is too wet.  They dried it yesterday with squeeges and a helicopter.  Then put on bagged dirt.  I think it was too wet for that today.

I sketched in the same large sketchbook with a Micron 03 pen.  I didn't plan well, but I got a sketch to post for today.  Luckily sketches are for my own use and are usually not made public.  I post them here to have a record of my work, so break that rule.  Don't look too closely.  Ha.

Number 1, Ivy - no ivy here but this plant has a vine to it
Number 2, journal - my sketchbook/journal
Number 3, knee - holding my sketchbook
Challenge:  doing some of the items in alphabetical order

Hi Jo! I admire you for sketching all the time. You sure have had more than your fair share of rain, always too much or too little. Sweet of you to check in on me. Hugs

Barbara, hi there. Thanks for checking on me, too. Where does the time go? We needed the rain but a bit much in some places. We are thankful for our part, it was just about right here.

"Don't look too closely. Ha."

That made me laugh. I did not look too closely. Promise! :-)

Ha, Joanna! I have not been too interested in anything lately since the fall, but seem to be better now. Maybe I can paint....
