Sketches for Hunt 399

Scavenger Hunt 399 is well on the way.  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1375890
I sketched outside in my smaller traveling sketchbook.  Easier to handle and it is a bit breezy.  I sketched with a Micron 05 and added some colored pencil inside.  Sketching and painting that way? No?  No, just sketching.

Number 3, a sign of the new season where you live - wild flowers across the driveway

Number 4, landscape - I was really looking at the wisteria but the sketch will do for landscape.  I thought maybe, building.  There is not enough of the house showing for building it seems.

The neighbor's wisteria on the fence is weighing heavily on the corner post.  Beautiful to see.  It would make a good painting early morning or evening with some more interesting light.  Today is overcast and windy.

Gene did go on his Terratrike ride.  It probably is not easy in the wind on the hills.  Riding is good for him, he doesn't like sitting around.  He has been making some work tables in the garage that hang on the wall and fold out of the way when he isn't using them.  His back hurts when he bends over so they are higher than a regular work bench.  Pretty nifty.

We have baseball tonight.  Hook 'em Horns!

I love wisteria. It would make a nice painting. Our day was pretty nice here. The sun was shining and the wind was not too much. I put sheets and towels out on the line.

Jennifer, I was surprised how much th post was leaning. Interesting.

Bag Blog, it is so pretty, Ah, nice when you can hang out the sheets. We try to do that. They always smell so good.

I like that first sketch quite a bit.

I don't recognize the wisteria or the house. I can't believe I've never noticed it since I love wisteria! :-)

Joanna, those little purple ones appear to be Western Spiderwort.

The house is directly across from the mailbox. You are probably always looking this way when you arrive and when you leave you are looking for traffic to your right. :)
