Hunting for Hunt 394

I sketched a couple of times in my large sketchbook for Scavenger Hunt 394 since my last post.  They are very "sketchy" which happens when I am not very excited about sketching.  I hurry and don't pay attention to perspective and lines.  Ah, you know me well.  Strange though, that this is more items than I usually sketch with a couple of days to go.

On Tuesday I sketched #3, house plant - my sad Christmas cactus, I overwatered it.
#4, something reminding me of my childhood - my spurs
#5, animal - our Valentines Day unicorn and bear

Thursday I sketched again.
#6, box, #7, jar, #8 bowl - a cloth covered box, the redneck Mason jar wine glass, and a bowl from the Empty Bowl project
#9, kitchen appliance - 2 for the price of one
#10, kitchen chair #11, pillow - chair with the cushion in place of pillow
#12, something over a year old in the fridge that should be thrown away - Tabasco  We eat very little tabasco, just on something Cajun.  We eat green and red chile for spicey hot food.

We like to eat at place in OK City called Ted's Cafe Escondido. Recently a Ted's opened in Lawton and we tried it out last Thursday. I like their usual fresh salsa, but they also offer a salsa called "atomic" salsa (supposed to be really hot). It is good too. Instead of being made with jalapenos, it is made with green chilies. I think of you when I eat it. It seems more of a New Mexican food rather than a Mexican.

Jennifer Rose, thank you! I will take your advice on the Tabasco!

Bag Blog, we may just try Ted's out when we come see you. We ate at Chuy's in Austin on Saturday. They have New Mexico chile. It was pretty average but looks real. Ha.
