We are back from a very good time in Kentucky with our son's, David's, family. We ate too much, watched too many games, played too many games, stayed up too late, etc., and even though, a good time was had by all!
My email from my web server for jocastilloart.com was on the fritz yesterday. It was very inconvenient for me but I can imagine how it was for companys that receive hundreds of email messages and orders! Whew! At any rate if you tried to send something to me yesterday at jo@jocastilloart.com and received a message that my mail box was full, I did not receive it then or today when it was repaired. Please try again.
I can usually get mail at my old address on AOL. jocastart@aol.com as a back up, I put that on the sidebar. I will put that on my contact page on my website, as well. Thanks to Mary Lemmenes for letting me know. We have been blog buddies for a while, check out her stories and wonderful art. http://creativeeverydaylife.blogspot.com/
I sketched this morning quickly so I would have a sketch for this post. I sketched in the travel sketchbook with the Micron 05 to fill the page. This is for Scavenger Hunt 384 http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1366212&page=2
Number 11, stack of something - art supplies in plastic bags, sketchbook and plastic spatula
Number 12, wet - water bottle for spraying acrylics or pastels
Don't forget about the pastel class listed above for next Tuesday, December 9, here in Bastrop, Texas. We will have a good time playing in the dust!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

It is good to get away and see family and friends, but it is always good to get home. It is cold and wet here today. I have been working on some small watercolor Christmas cards. And listening to Christmas music.
Bag Blog, it is warmer here today. Yesterday it was as cool as Kentucky. Not good! Sounds like a good day, painting and music. Nice! Hopefully I will get on a schedule starting tomorrow. Right?
Sorry about the email woes. Glad you're home! :-)
Hey, Joanna. Thanks, we are glad to be home, too.
sounds like a good time, if you don't eat too much or stay up too late, something went wrong ;)
Jennifer, you are soooo right. Whoopee!!!!
