More First Friday and Texas Masters

I failed to mention on my newsletter   that I have work at Art Connections Gallery where they have a big First Friday going on as well.  They usually have live music and a featured artist.  (I will be featured in December along with another artist.)

Art Connections Gallery
908 Main Street, Bastrop Texas
512 657-4275

This week I took this from Art Connections Gallery facebook page:
It's Mardi Gras weekend! Come see our 'Flambeaux' photograph series by Stan Strembicki!
Flambeaux are the torches carried in night parades during Mardi Gras!

I have several pieces of artwork there:

Twighlight Pines
16 x 20
Pastel on Pastelbord, framed in gold plein air frame.

Bastrop Resident
5 x 7 inches
Pastel on Pastelbord, framed in dark plein air frame.

 Hour Cow
7 x 5 inches
Pastel framed in gallery style dark frame

Who Me?
7 x 5 inches
Pastel framed in gallery style dark frame

As mentioned before and above I will be among the featured artists across the street at the Bastrop Art Gallery in the Changing Seasons Show from 5 - 8 pm.

I hope you can make the First Friday Art Walk and visit the whole downtown area.  Make a night of it. Child care available, too.

If you can you should make it out to Frederricksburg, Texas,  to the Sixth Annual Texas Masters Show, March 2 - March 25, 2014.  Amazing artwork!!  You can preview it on their website here

I highly recommend checking it out!  Beautiful, beautiful paintings by some of the best artists in Texas!
