First Friday Review

A special "THANK YOU" to all the brave folks that battled the weather and came by Lost Pines Art Bazaar to visit with us on First Friday.  The evening was wet and cold but no wind, so better than forecast.  The Lost Pines Art Bazaar store is beautiful.  Naseem Khonsari and her parents and crew are friendly and generous.  The door prize was one of my desk calendars with my paintings on it.

Judy Strait won the door prize.  I hope she enjoys it.  It is for 2014 so the first month is past!

There was plenty of room to set up my paintings.  It is always fun to see them together.

These were on the table.  In the background you can see furniture, tea, teapots, vases, etc., that are for sale there.  They have many, many rugs, sculptures and art.

The left side of the table.

The right side of the table.

My guestbook, brochures and gifts.  The spot to sign up for the door prize.

For anyone that signed my mailing list I gave a bookmark and a postcard of my painting of downtown Bastrop.  The bookmarks are made on watercolor paper.  I paint a practice painting with acrylics on both sides, varnish them and cut in strips.   Ribbon and eyelets are added.  People like to get a little piece of a painting.

Again, thanks to everyone that stopped by.   See all y'all soon at the next opportunity.

That all looks like fun - especially on a cold day.

It was fun seeing your paintings together that way. And, the store you were in was quite nice! I just wish it hadn't been so cold!
