I did sketch for Scavenger Hunt 343. It is the last day for this Hunt. I finished the 7 x 10 inch Canson sketchbook. Yay! That is something! (We have been watching "Soap" on DVDs that Jennie gave us for Christmas. "That is something!" was a comment from Jessica many times. It has been fun to see the old shows.)
Number 7, on the floor - basket with Number 8, environmental - paper to recycle.
Number 9, box - the boxes waiting for Christmas decorations to fill them somehow. Is there a reflexive verb in Spanish for that? I always like the verb: caer, to fall. You say, "Se me cayó el libro". It means "I dropped the book" but literally it is "the book fell from me". The book gets the blame! I wish my boxes would fill up for me. I blame them for just sitting there!
I am hosting the new Hunt 344. The host lists 26 items and you sketch as many or few as you have time for. The Hunt lasts for 9 days, from January 10 to January 18. Post what you can. Comment if you have time. Come on over and sketch with us. Here is my list for the Hunt:

These are one word book titles, feel free to sketch the item or a related item. Here are a few extra for challenges:I haven't actually read the books so don't know what they are about, you just sketch the word or something related, like "Uglies" could be a worn out something, trash, etc. I don't have a kaleidoscope, so maybe I could sketch something multicolored with a pattern/design?? Eggs, maybe sketch eggs. You get the idea.
Kaleidoscope by Danielle Steele
Cane by Jean Toomer
Violin by Anne Rice
Thunderhead by Mary O'Hara
Jaws by Peter Benchley
Jazz by Toni Morrison
Have fun!!

I've been sketching every day, but not painting. We have the same problem. I have actually had the urge to paint, but can't seem to find just the right subject.
I struggle with Spanish verbs.
That's an interesting list, Mom.
I hope the painting inspiration fairy bops her wand on your noggin soon. Hugs...
Bag Blog, I guess the inspiration will come. I did paint a small painting for our swap. I can't post it until the end of the month. It was something I "had to" paint. Maybe that is what we need ... commitment. I struggle with Spanish verbs, too. I just like those reflexive ones that blame the object!
Joanna, thanks. Your inspiration fairy made me smile. I'm waiting!!
I still haven't looked at the photos from Christmas. Perhaps a longhorn or two would help. I shall try to dig through them. Hugs...
Thank you, Joanna. No rush .... I seem to be keeping busy. :)
