This was a scene I sketched before while we were waiting at the ferry across Kooteney Bay to Balfour. I sketched for about 30 minutes.
These curtains were interesting in our room. All were trimmed with crystals that appeared to have been from a chandelier . The border was lace roses. The walls were sort of brown and I greyed them toward lavender, I thought. Evidently I just made lavender. :). Probably 40 minutes or so. I can play a little video on the app to show the process, I will have to watch the many corrections and "undo" options I used.
After checking e-mail and finishing a glass of wine at an Internet cafe, I started this sketch and showed it to the waitress just before we left and she asked to show it to the gent I was sketching. As we crossed the street, the guy, Adam, caught up to us and asked me to send him the sketch. He said his mom would like it. I hope so. There were so many neat things behind the bar I wanted to put in. I didn't even get to what he was eating or drinking. Oh well, maybe I can paint it sometime. I think I got a photo.
I will post some of my pen and ink sketches and photos soon.

Those are some neat little sketches with your app. I could even tell what they were without the letters at the bottom. :)
Bag Blog, you are so funny. Did you get a drawing/painting app for your Kindle yet? I want to see some of your sketching. Thanks, it is fun to do.
Jo - that looks like so much fun! And I really love the curtains - those are great! Plus you can practice, practice without having to later decide if you want to re-do it or not.
Hi, Regina. I do enjoy the finger painting with no mess. I started trying it on Gene's phone a few years ago but the iPad has so much more room to play. Thank you.
Boy! I can't believe what computers do now!...these are great sketches, Jo and all you need is fingers and the iPad!!! Life is good!!
