We are now in Lakeview, Oregon. Sort of back in communication. We have phone service most of the time and internet a little more often. I'm using Gene's computer while he naps.
I sketched at the B and B in Kaslo with my Prismacolor Premier pen in the travel 7 x 10 inch sketchbook for
Scavenger Hunt 282. I didn't really sketch for the Hunt but the items fit in.
Number 1, something that loves the sun - flowers, and number 2, cute - a garden statue of four children and a light.
Number 3, something that makes you smile - the mountains and trees seen over the fence.
Number 4, teapot; number 5, looked at from below - the shelf; number 6, something with buttons - my jacket; number 7, something blue - the plate.
Number 8, something with a knob - part of the door and part of the knob. :) Number 9, something with more than two legs - the chair.
Some photos along the way:

Crooked River High Bridge north of Crater Lake is actually 3 bridges. One for the trains, one that isn't used for cars anymore but you can walk on it and the new one for cars. This is the old and you can see a bit of the red new one. It reminded of the Rio Grand Gorge near Taos, New Mexico. |

You can hike up to this lookout. I think it is the highest spot in the park. |
