You probably know that I give paintings to certain charities.
Mike Etie, Austin Pastel Society artist and friend, asked for donations for the ASH (Austin State Hospital) Insights Art Show and Sale to be held in January. I think my Autumn in the Hill Country painting is perfect for that.

You can attend the event and bid on my painting and artwork by patients in the hospital and other well known artists including Mike.
AHS Insights Art Show and Sale

Time: 6 – 9:00 p.m.
Purpose: The purpose of ASH Insights Art Show & Sale is to raise funds to improve the quality of life for patients at the Austin State Hospital.
Features: The ASH Insights Art Show & Sale will feature works of art produced by patients of the Austin State Hospital. The Austin State Hospital will also feature works of art donated by generous professional artists in support of the event and its purpose. The evening will include a silent and live auction, live music, food, drinks and live art demonstrations.
Tickets: Tickets for the ASH Insights Art Show & Sale are $35 each in advance and $50 at the door.
The ASH Insights Art Show & Sale is an event authorized by the Volunteer Services Council of the Austin State Hospital and has been planned and implemented by a committee of volunteers from the Austin Community and the Austin State Hospital staff. More information about the event, the volunteers, sponsorships and the artwork will be available on the event website at www.ashinsights.org For more information, call (512) 419-2333.
