Sketches, More Sunrise Photos

I sketched a little yesterday for Scavenger Hunt 241 while we washed clothes here at the RV Park.  They are in the brown paper Utrecht sketchbook with a Prismacolor Premier 05 pen.

Number 1, landscape - the little fall/Halloween set up here in the RV Park.

Number 2, skyscape - the filmy clouds above the trees on the horizon.  Number 3, tree and a challenge of doing more than one.

Number 4, vehicle - a black pickup across the way from the laundry room.

You know that I have been working on the inventory of our contents from the toasted house.  I have been searching for some sort of values on our antiques.  I searched for the old kitchen items including Dutch ovens.  Here is my suggestions of items to purchase from Amazon this morning.  Spooky, eh?

The house is coming along.  We got the paperwork in the works with a deadline of on or before November 17, so........  We have good days and poor days.  Today we go to Austin to take care of the insurance checks for the structures and outbuildings.

There is a fundraiser for the Food Pantry at Threadgill's South tonight so we plan to do that.  Cover is a can of food.  Jenny Reynolds (among many others) will be there!  30% chance of thundershowers today.  I wouldn't mind if the show was rained out!  We so need the rain.

And here are the sunrises from yesterday and today.  I guess I can start a blog of sunrise photos.  From the house it will be mostly sunsets as the porches face south and west.

Sunrise Tuesday, October 11, nice for Lisa's birthday!  Happy Birthday again, Lisa!
Sunrise this morning!
I have scanning and printing of documents to do for tomorrow with the loan stuff.  Later...........

At first I thought it was your laundry that was in the brown paper...sketchbook. I read slow. Your little truck sketch is excellent.

Bag Blog, LOL! That is certainly not clear where my laundry was. Wow, I think my brain is fried. Too much info to deal with. I had to get a new camera so I got the same kind I had before so I wouldn't have to learn anything new! Should write the same blog over and over!

Cars/trucks are hard to draw, they don't have any edges. Thanks.

Glad things are moving along!!! It is great that you are getting sketching done with all that is going on. I will do a rain dance for all of you!

Thank you, Joan. We can certainly use the rain dance!! Would love to join in!

Beautiful sunrises and great sketches! I would think the sketchbook is a good escape from the overload of paperwork, research, phone calls, etc. you are juggling right now. Glad you got your new camera and hope you got the needed rain!

Seeing clouds in the sky is such a treat these days. Rain would've been good.

Also, it's not really all that spooky that you look for a dutch oven on Amazon and then it suggest the next day that you might want to buy one. :-)

Great sketches! We had to do a scavenger hunt in my drawing class - made me think about you. We had thirty different things to draw around campus, but we could only take three minutes to draw each one. I would post some, but they are pretty sloppy!

Rosemary, I'm not sure why we get up so early here. Can't do much that early! The sketching is a good break. We had one day of rain but not much showing in the future again. All of Texas is under burn bans. That is a huge area as you know!

Joanna, yes more rain would be great. I don't think anyone would mind if an event was rained out.

Jesse, wow. Can't imagine a building or what ever in three minutes. I try to get mine done in about 10. It is so good for your eye to sketch from life. Your work is really beautiful. In your genes I guess. :-)
