We were at the maybe new house going over the inspection and our neighborhood roadrunner showed up. We've seen him two days in a row, so must be a regular. There is a big cottontail living in the front it seems. We have surprised him three times now, I think.

My first of the roadrunner. |
The trees look so healthy there, but the lake is very low. So, more rain is needed. There are some on the side of the house that are dead, I think. Not pines at least. The yard needs work.

As close up as my camera gets. |

The sunrise this morning! |

And a few minutes later. |
The rain is gone today, but it is cool at least. Seventy degrees at 9:30 p.m. Maybe I will sketch in the morning!

Love that first sunrise photo!
The roadrunner is a good omen.
One of my FB friends has been posting photos of her husband doing a Tough Mudder this past weekend near Bastrop. Her photos were pretty good.
I sure hope you get this property. It looks like a really good place to begin again.
Judi, thank you, we hope so, too. Slowly coming together.
