Routine - Sketches

Slowly we are getting a bit of a routine going.  It seems to help.  I have sketched two days in a row and Gene has ridden his bike a couple of times.  Yay!  The contract on the house is signed and accepted.  Now the inspection, survey and close at some point.

New Homefront, front porch.
View from kitchen/living porch.
As for sketching for Hunt 240, in my brown paper sketchbook with a Prismacolor Premier 05 pen.

Number 6, pen and Number 7, stove/oven.

Number 8, bottle, Number 9, glass and Number 10, cup.  I had one cup with me besides our covered plastic travel cups.  A start for my new cups!

And Gene getting back into the routine.  Probably not as fun to ride on Highway 71 instead of through the country and Bastrop State Park.  We shall see what his new route will be.

I think you'll be spending a lot of time on that kitchen/living porch. Yay! :-)

I'm excited and sometimes overwhelmed about what to get for a house. Interesting to start from scratch, eh?

It looks like a wonderful home to me. I really like the view you have too.
We are working on opening up our view to make it safer around our home.

Hi Judi! Thanks for commenting. I don't think anyone in all the southwest is safe until we get some rain, do you? Lots of big fires this summer in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

So glad you are going to get a home again soon. You will feel better when you get in and can start to make roots again.

Hi there, JeanneG! We keep saying that we aren't going to collect stuff again. I have a mug, an elephant and more art supplies! We have picked up some used furniture so are on our way!

Thanks for stopping in.
