I picked up the brown sketchbook and a Prismacolor pen. I thought I had the same pen but as you can see, the 05 was in the binding of the sketchbook and I was had picked up an 03.
The difference in the pens is you have a finer line with the smaller number. You can see the difference when compared with yesterday. For me it means I have to do more lines to get coverage. It also means finer detail and works well when you are trying for that. For regular quick sketches either is fine, just a preference. On the brown paper the 05 shows up better.
I sketched for Scavenger Hunt 235.
Number 3, nails and Number 4, all in a row. The windows on the condos across the way.
I mentioned that things tend to lean to the left in my sketches .. like the condos above. I looked it up on wetcanvas.com and urbansketchers.com and it is pretty common for a right handed person. Some have to really concentrate and measure to keep things straight up and down. Sometimes it is the way you hold the paper .. I had it on my knee. I don't feel so bad now.
I think you all know that I do crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. Gene's mom, Frances, used to do puzzles, too.

Tap Tap... Gott Love It.. :)
Hey Jennie, pretty cool grandmother!
I love crossword puzzles as did my grandmother. I have an old book that she used to help her with the puzzles. She wrote little notes like grandkid's birthday's and such on the inside cover. These days, the computer is my big cheat when it comes to crossword puzzles. "Tap Tap" is very funny.
Bag Blog, I do cryptograms on the Merrian Webster site but haven't found doing crosswords on-line much fun. I do use the on-line dictionaries to cheat, too. I love puzzles.
When Dad told me about the crossword puzzle on the phone, I didn't realize she'd put the words in two letter boxes. I thought she'd put the letters in 6 boxes across which wouldn't necessarily have been wrong. I like it.
It was cool, Joanna. There were some other interesting words, too. Strange how the mind works .. kind of on its own.
