The Old Timers Reunion is on for July 8, 9 and 10. There is a rodeo for the Old Timers, the cowboys have to be at least 50 years old to take part with the exception of team competitions, For team roping the two cowboys have to add up to 100, so it could be a 30 year old and a 70 year old ropers. They have a play in the evenings, barbeque on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday Morning, crowning of the Queen and a parade on Saturday. It should be fun and we get to see lots of people that we haven't seen in ages.
For my part, we set up my paintings at Peppers. I paint outside on Friday and Sunday and have a reception on Saturday after the parade. So, can we count on you to be there?

Having a show to prepare for should certainly help with the painter's block. I'm glad for your show. It is a good reason to go back to Magdalena.
Sheila, thanks. All of New Mexico was green that year. It was so beautiful and wildflowers everywhere. The yucca was fantastic.
Joanna, I have to get with it now. I've got a reason to paint. Ha.
Bag Blog, for sure I will have to get busy. It is about the only reason to go to Magdalena these days. Gene has one sister still there. There is only one restaurant and one bar! Yikes. Oh, and a good coffee shop. We will have to stay in Socorro, the new motel and the oldest one are closed, too.
