A few more quick sketches for Scavenger Hunt 193. These are in the small sketchbook (4 x 6 inches) with a Micron 3 pen, freehand.
Number 5, fruit, a couple of bananas. The were lying on the bed, not a table so the top one looks like it is floating. I should have sketched in the blanket and paper towel.
Number 6, liquid - coke, Number 7, glass and Number 8, cup.
The
Austin Pastel Society had the first meeting of this year today and were having a paint around. Hopefully someone will take some photos so we can see. It is always fun to see different artists painting on the same paintings and how they turn out. I will try to have a link here to see what happened.

I love the sketch of the cup, there is something really energetic about it.
Joanna, hi there. We often sketch food as everyday objects. I do OK with bananas, but chocolate sure gets to me. Oh, and wine!
