Almost impossible for me to get the figures to look like different folks so quickly .. mainly you get gesture only. Fun and frustrating at the same time. Ha.
Number 1, friend (sort of friends?) and challenge - moving subjects, Number 2, round -- the top of the hat, Number 3, non feathered animal, the gal watching the game. Number 4, cube, there is sort of a cube, too, in the shape of the dugout.

And of course a couple of photos from the game.
A big crowd even in the heat. The buses were over flowing! We wondered who would fall off trying to catch a home run.
And Russell Moldenhauer getting fed a little of Augie's philosophy. Augie seems to always emphasize to just do the best you can, one pitch at a time, one inning at a time. He says they all do better when they each work toward doing their best. Maybe that was just before Russell hit his big home run in that game. He has been a clutch hitter in the tournaments. That philosophy works for artists, too, don't you think?

Nice shot of Augie and Moldy.
Great blog as always Jo, keep that work coming. I liked Marie-Jeanne's work very much, great idea to feature another artist, very generous.

Joanna, as Bob Ross used to say about painting, "It was a happy accident." Thanks.
Rae, thank you. I'm always looking at other artists, especially pastelists when I should be painting. Ha.
