I worked on a commission today. A pastel of saguaros. I have a good start on it. It will be 9 x 15 on Colourfix sanded paper in a deep brick color. I'm anxious to get it done as I have several deadlines looming.
The Austin Pastel Society has a miniature show in June. I hope you get a chance to visit the Scarbrough building to see the show. The work will be great. You might find a painting you can't live without. I have one painting ready, but need to have two. Gene will frame them.
We are also having an in-house show at the June meeting with a painting or two which have to follow certain guidelines. That is always interesting to have a path to follow. More about that as I start the paintings.
Lots of painting and framing to follow as we get ready to go to New Mexico, too. Stay tuned.......

Sounds like you're busy and productive... looking forward to seeing the saguaros.
Nice to see you made it back home. :)
Hi Teresa, it is busy. I should be painting now. I'm going right after I post this, I promise!
Valerie, hi there. We will have to get together next time. I got the apron and will post about it asap.
