New Hunt #123. Sketches.

I am so behind in my Scavenger Hunts, that I numbered these sketches for Hunt #122 and had to scratch it out. Must be the problem I have called A.G.E. Hmmm. I sketched in the regular sketchbook with a Micron 05 pen. About 25 or 30 minutes total. I sketch freehand with no pencil lines. I'm trying to get better at looking and putting down a good direct line. It will help with my painting, hopefully.

These are for Scavenger Hunt #123.

Number 1,2,3 - Broom, dustpan and (dust) mop. Number 4 - Lotion or Cream

We went to Austin today to donate blood and go to the baseball game. Gene donates platelets and I donate whole blood. My veins wouldn't be agreeable to the machine. It is all they can do to get the blood out, much less put it back. Ha.

The baseball game was postponed due to weather. Rainy and cold. We were not too disappointed as it was cold and the stadium gets soooo much colder. We arrived home to find that it had only sprinkled lightly here. We need rain!! Do you want to come by and do a dance for rain? It could work. By the way it was about 86 degrees yesterday and about 65 for a low in the night. Today when we went to town it was about 52 and now it is 47 degrees. Winter returned. So sad.

Your sketches look great... I'm feeling a little niggle of guilt since my sketchbooks sit a-gathering dust.

Re: rain dance.. certainly! Want the hubby's band to come along too and provide the music?

When we lived in South Texas, I gave blood regularly, but now I find that others have problems getting my blood. I keep trying. We are getting some rain today, but we sure need more.

My word verification is "curded" which is what my blood seems to do when they try to get it out of my veins.

We could all come and do a rain dance for you if you think that will help. Glad you're sketching and donating blood too. I have a few more weeks before I can donate again and I'm switching back to whole blood this time. I have that similar problem with my veins. Hope it warms up a bit. Baseball games need sunny, warm weather.

Teresa and Joan, Rain dance by osmosis? We have had an inch of rain last night and today? First measurable rain in ages. We are in extreme drought conditions for 18 months or so. It would be fun to meet you two and have music to boot!

Baseball scheduled for tomorrow evening and the weekend .. conditions not looking favorable, but we need the rain more.

Bag blog, nice word on your verification. Mine was "nedinges" for signing on to my blogger. Nothing cool there. Ha.

I'll pass on some of this virtual rain dance spirit on to you!

Exceptional drought, one of two counties in Texas that has gone to Exceptional and unfortunately 0.85 inches won't bring us out but it does help!

Hi Gene, you are right. I was thinking extreme, but exceptional is worse. It was nice to have rain for sure.
