I wrote about my father last year and the day after golfing with Larry. Gene will be cooking brisket today and Joanna, Jennie and Larry will be here for celebrating the day with Gene. David will be cooking at his home in Kentucky and will call, I am sure.
Gene loves to read and this would be his perfect day. This photo was taken in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, a few years ago. We were waiting to hear Angus Finnan play and sing his folk music.

Those are some great photos especially the Nova Scotia pics. My hubby has taken to riding his bike longer distances - like to church last Sunday which was about 14 miles round trip. He got a new bike helmet for Father's Day. It is just another of those odd things we have in common, Jo.
