What a good, hot time. Gene just remarked that our hotel room is cool, the first time he has been cool all day. He rode his bike this morning for 23 miles. He went a little further than he planned. Not lost, only bewildered, as Daniel Boone reportedly said. :) It was cloudy off and on, deceptive clouds would come and go, making you think that it was cooler for a minute or two.
The second game was Rice and St. John's. Rice won 11-2. So tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. (again in the sun) we play St. John's, the winner will play Rice at 6:00 p.m. If St. John's would possibly win over Texas, they will play Rice for the championship and we will go home. :( If Texas wins over St. John's, Texas will have to play Rice and beat them at 6:00 p.m. and then beat them again on Monday evening. We are hoping for that result! (Double elimination tournament) We stayed until 8:00 p.m.
We went to dinner after that part of the second game at a Spanish place, Mi Luna. We had paella. Yummmm.

The Horns and the stadium crew getting ready.
The "huddle" before the inning.
Kyle's first home run. I missed Jordan's, sorry. They had back to back home runs.
Then! Kyle's second home run, his next at bat. Wow.
Cameron checking on a checked swing.
The Eyes of Texas at the end.

One of the trains that goes by our hotel, I didn't even hear them, too much fun in the sun, I guess. I heard them the first night. Hmmm.
