The handles are not any different in size in real life. I will blame my bad perspective on looking over my shoulder to the right, it is behind Gene's chair, and watching TV. I should be too embarrassed to post it, but what the hey. This is an exercise to learn and practice.I have been working on a commission of an entrance gate and will post it when I have approval from the client. I'm painting it in acrylics and so far, it is coming along well. I should finish soon.

Forget about the handles, you did the texture of the basket so well! An entrance gate sounds like a great idea for a painting...
Joan, thank you. You give me a boost today. The gate and fence turned out to be wrought iron with rock pillars .. not easy. So nice to have a smile here.
