Susan's Dream Come True
Congratulations to Susan, our friend, on the opening of her studio/gallery in La Villita, San Antonio, Texas. I can only imagine how exciting this is. Pop over and add a comment on her blog. She is a great pastelist and does wonderful portraits in oil and pastel. She is generous and supporting to fellow artists as well. She sent me a great list of hints for my upcoming class. I may have a wedding to go to in San Antonio in the future. If the couple has the wedding where they are presently living I'll have to remember to stop at this gallery. I hope she does well with it. Riverwalk is such a fun place.

Thanks for posting this link, my friend. I've really appreciated your support. I'm exhausted down to my bones today, but happy just as deep. I'm looking forward to painting in my own downtown San Antonio studio tomorrow! Come on down and join me- we'll play in the colors and smile all day.

Jeanne, right! I didn't do the self portrait challenge so the photo must do....
I will keep you in mind if the wedding is in San Antonio. I don't even know when they're planning to get married. Who knows, they may end up having it at the parent's house in Itasca, TX. If we come down to San Antonio I would definitely let you know. Meeting you and your friend would be fun.
Joan, I understand how that works. :) At any rate, if you get to Texas let us know. It would be great to meet you! We could meet for lunch at the Outlet Mall in Hillsboro, too. Ha.
