Susan says, "Painting, big brush and buket kind" with friends.

*Note: (added Friday 1/18 11:07 a.m.) I notice that "bucket" is misspelled in my title. That was me, not Susan. :) I also added a link to Karen's blog.

We went to San Antonio today to help Susan paint her gallery/studio. How great is it that she will have a studio in La Villita. Yippee! I can go take a portrait class and just paint with her, too. Well, you can go take a class, too.

Here are some photos, we were all at our best. Not in our best clothes, but in our best humor.

Here is Susan taking photos at the end of the day. We are still laughing and smiling. You can see why she is covering the peg board. Lovely color to back up her paintings!

Karen worked first and then came to help.

I like this photo of Gene.

This is the window out to the patio. It was black and dirty. Looks happy now.

Is this some sort of Huck Finn/Tom Sawyer story where you make wall painting look like fun and invite your friends? It sounds like good friends to have.

Jo! You took some fun photos of yesterday's crew. I send you great big waves of gratitude. They should be arriving in Bastrop throughout the day. Hey, you humble thing... you didn't mention that your painting had been printed in the Colorado paper! Congratulations and 'Way to Go!'

Bag Blog, That is cute. Now that I think about it, though .. Susan's energy is so compelling I couldn't resist. She is a little the opposite of Tom, so enthusiastic that you follow along, but she keeps going full speed ahead. :) I guess it is good she isn't like the Pied Piper, there I would go.......over the edge!

Susan, I appreciate your kind words and thanks. And see how I had something to blog about yesterday!

I thought we had talked about the paper in Colorado. Ah, me. It is a nice thing.
