Scavenger Hunt Sketch, Park

The electric company stopped by today to firm up our utility pole in the yard. Interesting, they said someone had checked it out a couple of months ago. They drilled holes in it and put some sort of liquid under pressure in them and then put in wooden pegs. Then installed a metal plate down in the ground about 10 feet and tied the post to it. Hmmm. It took them about half an hour.

I remembered that Scavenger Hunt 64 had a park with a person as one of the items, so this is a substitute. We have more trees in the yard than some parks. :) I sketched from my studio window, therefore the perspective of looking down at them. #5, about 15 minutes with a Micron 005 pen.

This was a perfect substitution for the sketch for the scavenger hunt. You captured them well!

Hi Joan, My husband said, "They don't look like anyone I saw out there! And where am I?" So in the eye of the beholder, eh?

If the workers finished in about 30 minutes, you had to do some fast sketching.

My husband says things like that, too. My son is a bit more diplomatic. He says, "Interesting perspective" when he doesn't really like something.

bag blog, Yes, that is the way the spouses are. Trouble is, Gene is usually right. Just hard to hear!
