Here at home, we remember for a couple of reasons. It is Charlie's birthday and Crystal's birthday. Happy Birthday to you! Charlie ignores the internet so he will not see this. Not sure about Crystal, but we spoke with both of them today. Charlie is a friend of some 40 odd years, married to my "old" roommate, Gen.
Crystal ,we met in Bolivia where she started a group to assist one of the orphanages there, Para los Niños. I donate a percentage of my art sales to them every year. What a great project. Besides helping there, many children have been adopted and are in loving families. We had a great time, great memories.
It was fun to talk with them today. Thank goodness we have birthdays so we have an excuse to call!
