Can you believe it? My blog is one year old today. The
first entry was short and sweet. I never thought i would be able to keep the blog going. Gene keeps a daily journal. I really admire him for that. I have tried before, but would put in a couple of weeks and then it would trickle off to once a week, once a month, etc. He makes lists and schedules. I make lists and never look at them. I always have plenty to say, but the routine of posting almost daily .. well, I'm not good with schedules and keeping to a daily routine. You can tell that by my exercise routine, diet routine, bookkeeping routine, cleaning, putting things away, etc. But, I have posted 297 entries for the 365 days. Some days I post more that once a day which means that I missed quite a few days. Oh well.

I worked on the feet painting. I feel the shadows are too strong for the lighting and will adjust that. The legs are too skinny, more adjusting. I should have taken another photo in the process but it is hard to stop when you get on a roll.
I have kept my web page going since September of 2003, so I am consistent in some of my endeavors. Guess I am good for another year in the blogger world, see how it goes.

Woo hoo! One year old. Way to go, Mom.
Congratulations, Jo! I love that you blog. A year is a significant milestone. How has blogging helped/hindered your artmaking?
Now it's Gene's turn to blog.
Joanna, thank you. My web presence is very much a result of your help and encouragement, you know? Hugs.
Mom
Leslie, thank you. I will work on answering your question for the next blog. How about that?
Jo
Congratulations on making it a year. Mine will be a year old on the 19th. I wouldn't have remembered the exact date so after reading yours, looked back at the date of my first blog. I knew it was in June.
It's funny how much you can do in a year. And with the blog, we can keep track of it a lot easier. And like Gene, you do journal...just online instead of in a book. Many people find journaling online easier. I sporadically journal in a book, but it scares me that some relative will read them. I put much more personal stuff in the handwritten one. I hope they instantly combust the day I am gone. lol
If I traveled as much as the two of you, I'd have to journal just to keep my whereabouts straight.
Jeannne, Thanks for stopping by. I think posting to the blog is a little like paying for an exercise class, you are embarrassed not to do it when you have an audience. Ha. I have done much better with this than a hand written journal.
Congratulations on your year as well. :)
