Pretty boring, I know. But sitting at my desk and commenting on the Hunt, I realized I hadn't sketched one for my own Hunt since the Halloween sketch. I numbered it Number 1 instead of 2. Sigh...
I scanned it twice once in pure gray tones and once in black and white. The gray was light and I sharpened it to get stronger lines. The black and white one has more contrast but it picked up black like dust and the scanner was pretty clean. Hmmmm. I usually scan in the gray. Now I know why it is much closer to the actual sketch.
Number 1 thumb gray scan - Sketched in the Conda sketchbook half page with a Pilot ball point pen.
And in black and white. It looks a little like charcoal dust, eh?

Jo - amazing job of capturing thumbs...something so common and yet it takes a great skill to draw them well - which you did. Hope your end of October is wonderful. See you in November - Hugs!
I love it.
Hi Debbie, my hands are my constant models, always with me. So I have sketched them a lot. Thank you. See ya....
R's Rue, thank you.
Our thumbs go come in handy for sketching. lol
Thanks, Joan, I'm always thankful for my hands for sketching ... and other things, ha.
